I can't find the damn fuse and relay of the water spray system...

I think I might be able to help with the 3rd, I've got a pic for you to take a look at.

The pic would be nice. :)

I've checked the 2 water pumps and they are fine.
I've tried to make a direct connection in the front pressure switch:

Anything happened.

Where are located the fuse and relay?

Thanks

Hi Jose, tried to send you a mail but it got bounced back to me. Snorre (ssq4) sent me these pics of where the fused relay for the waterspray pumps goes. Its the empty socket in these pics.

I am also going to activate my waterspray-system..

mark, for your question about if that is the only thing needed, It could be, but probably there might be some dried o-rings (in the pumps) and/or waterpipes since they never have been in use since the car was new.

good luck to us :D
keep me updated on your progress :)

Hi guys!

Last year my brother and i also activated the waterspray system in my Q4.

In my case, maybe it depends to which country the car was exported to, i also needed to mount the powerline for the water spray system.

On the added picture you can see where i found the powerline, it was put behind the damping matting. We screwed the wire to the black box, mounted the relay and the system was working without problems!

Hope i could help you by your work!

Yours Chris!

What kind of fuse do you need for the relay? 10 amp? 20 amp?

Today i looked in my technical manuel and for the waterspray relay is needed a 20 Amp Fuse!

Hope i am not to late with my answer!
