My Q4's exhaust manifold is broken (it has a crack just in the middle).

This has some kind of arrangement or must be changed (new one)?

Yesterday i've seen this for the Q4 at ebay. But it's the substitute for the exhaust manifold? Anyone knows this ?

Is your cracked manifold the standard one? Don't think I've ever heard of a standard manifold cracking. The one on ebay looks like the supersprint one, or a copy of a supersprint. Yes it is a replacement for the exhaust manifold, but beware it probably won't have the hole for the EGR system, and it may move the position of the turbo slightly. When I had my exhaust manifold replaced I had the EGR disconnected and had to have a new oil feed pipe made up for the turbo.

It looks a very good price on ebay though.

he delivers it with or without the EGR connection.
you get a 2 year warranty and can send it back within 14 days if you don't like it!
go for it!
if you need more details or have questions i can translate it for you since i come from the german speaking region of switzerland.

Is your cracked manifold the standard one?

Yes it is!

I've always noticed that tha car pulls badly. Could it be (the cracked exhaust manifold) the reason to that?

Can anyone of you explain to me the (dis)advantages of this manifold?
It seems that in Germany it needs some sort of homologation (ABE) ...

Thanks

of course the cars pulls badly when the exhaust manifold has a crack.

there are no disadvantages.
you'll get better turbo spool up and the power curve will be more stable.

If you hava an option to make it on your own, then DO it.

All you need is a rostfrei material, and a lot of good will.

Specially if you running on nonstock turbine ;)

here's how mine looks like and didn't spedn more than 20eur on meterial:
