WE WANT THE STARTUP VIDEO!!!!!!
Congrats Serge!
YESS it's alive! Even more than alive!
it's ... it's...
i can't find any word that could describe even close to how this car made me feel driving it! :D
i need to borrow a videocamera from someone to make a decent video but for the moment this has to do:
http://www.cuore-sportivo.com/videos/BRMM.MOV
i took this video with a photocamera so the quality is not that good and the size is huge (20MB)!
(btw. anyone knos how to edit a .mov file?)
right know i'm "running it in" (don't know if this is the right expression in english) at only 0.7 bar max. and boy does that thing run!
at 0.7 bar it's already faster than before with 1.3 bar!

Hi Serge, just downloading the video now, I can convert the video to real media if you like, will be alot smaller in size.
Just watched the vid, wow how clean is your car? Are those seats from a 33 P4? Nice engine sound.
Steve
Hello Steve
oh yes please convert it for me. (can i edit real media with microsoft movie maker?)
thanks for the compliments :D
my Q4 came with those seats standard.

Hi Serge,
Right I've converted the .MOV video into a hi and low quality .WMV file so you should be able to use Windows movie maker with it now. The files are here
Serge Low quality 1.1Mb (http://www.berlinasportivo.com/marquespec/Alfa/Video/Serge.wmv)
Serge High quality 3.6Mb (http://www.berlinasportivo.com/marquespec/Alfa/Video/Hi_Serge.wmv)
If you are going to get some more video done, why don't get yourself a trial copy of Ulead Video Studio 10, quite a big download but you do get a full video editing suite free for 30 days.
Do you mind if I put them up onto the website?
Steve
Brilliant, lovely tickover noise!!
Cant wait to see it driving!
Well done Serge!! :D :D
thanks alot Steve!
before you put it on your website i wanted to blank out the licenseplate, but until now i did not found out how to do that (any help apreciated)
thanks AlfaJack!

Hi Serge, the only way I can think of doing it is by adding a shape of some sort over the licence plate in every frame that the licence plate appears in. Fairly time consuming. There is probably a better way of doing it, but i've only just started messing around with the video software.
Steve
Here are the first pictures of the enginebay and one with both my Q4's together.
The engine is now "run-in" and now i will raise the boost

Serge,
Have you thought about relocating the battery? You'd be able to straighten out the induction route then. Looking very very nice though.
Steve
Steve
indeed i will place the battery in the trunk. :P
i also want to change the intercooler with an Water/Air Intercooler and the Water-Alcohol Injection System is ready as well. And i'm not yet happy with the fresh air feed.
there are still lots of modifications on my list, but i can't do them all at once, but slowly i will get there
and even so, it already runs like a dream!

Congratulations SERGE! A truly nice job! Now, its Time to enjoy the Q4!
How wide are your rims and what ET do you use?
Are there spacers of 10mm on each side at the rear?
@ OpaNkaR
8" rims with ET 35 and 10mm spacers on each side at the rear
Very nice, indeed.
What are the ET from the original wheels?

Excellent figure Serge!!
I did 13 secs last year with my Q4 (the video is on the video section). Hope to improve that figure after the major surgery the car is going through at the moment.
You will do less than 13 secs when all the mechanical parties start matching each other. Your engine is just starting to move after being rebuit, so the better is coming!
thanks juan
yes indeed i think i will be able to reach better figures, but for the first time i'm quite happy :D
the easiest improvement will be a better reaction time (1.2sec  )
