i`m very interested in knowing more about how the intake is constructed on the GTA. when was it on ebay and who was selling it ?
it was basicly a cone with a square end , the filter as in normal squre one sits in the end facing front of the car . its very basic but hard to describe.

Ahhh, I've seen one of them, seems like a good idea, if you don't drive the car in the rain, won't the airfilter get wet?
This is road-going version of 155 GTA with 380HP.
The picture was taken in Padova(Italy) in 2004.
At that time the car was for sale for "only" 57.000€.

Love the car, not too sure about the wheels or sticker on the bonnet.

Very nice as a modification even for the Q4, don't you think?
Thanks a lot Fletch.

And where are we going to get the cold air from:?:
I don't think this is a great solution.....
And i think the real GTA has a different solution....
No offence.
Greetings,
Marc
non taken, this is a picture of a lancia delta "sainz" as in proper rally job.
i like the fact that there is no messy pipework and a very short distance from the filter to the turbo but in real life maybe not a good idea for a road car where it rains
sorry its not the picture of the sainz car , i got mixed up but it has been used on them. here is some interesting kit and where the piccy is from.

I did not say that I'm going to use this mod in my car {if I'm not mistaken} but I like this combination.
I prefer a water-air cooler and in fact I've already ask a friend of mine to make a custom made for my Q4.
Cheers

ive been after one for a while and im a little weary of fitting one as yet, there seems to be a lot of Pace ones on ebay but ive also heard when in town traffic the water heats up in the rad giving near normal operation as the air to air :? still the lotus esprite one seems to work fine.

agry, but still I believe is better than the original though the original one is quite an effective one.

An old post, I?m bringing up again...
Does anybody knows where to get this 155 GTA kit from, og know who makes it...?
I want make my 155Q4 just like that!
There is a place in Japan I emailed a few years ago (no details now) but they never replaied. Someone else I know contacted them also and met with the same response. I think the export cost would be so prohibitive that it would not be worth going there anyway.
Your best bet would be to find a local fabricator and get them to make you a "one-off". Again, I enquired about this in the UK and was quoted about ?1500 five to six years ago.
Might be cheaper to go for the Lester DTM copy kit
