I was in his blind spot and he just pulled right out into me. He would've drove off had I not pulled into his path and got out shouting at him. They haven't admitted liability yet either, I know he was in the wrong, but proving it may be a different matter. In the meantime, my car looks awful as the mirror is just hanging by the wire. Im sure getting hold of the parts will be fun as well..........

Creep, ive got a passenger electric mirror from a rhd car which you could use , you would have to retain the original base plate and black plastic but by undoing the large nut which is exposed on yours you can bolt on the good bit. I know it works because i did it on the offside , its only the baseplate that is different.

thanks for the offer mate, but im getting it all done through the insurance. Demanding they fix it with geniuine alfa bits (still avaliable) and give me a hire car of similar spec!
