hi

tok off the plenum to change the cooling hose on the back and mount new knock sensor. But now i struggle to Get the vaccum hoses back on the right place. Anyone know where the hose from trottle body should go? The small one nearest the battery and in front on the body

I think the Q4 and Integrale throttle bodies are slightly different, but I will take a look for you later on this evening when I get home. First impressions are that it connects to the idle control valve though.

Right, just taken a look at the car, and checked the manual for the cooling system and it looks like the hose (circled in red) takes coolant back to the pipe of death at the back of the engine. http://forum.berlinasportivo.com/dbtgallery.php?do=gallery_image&id=55&gal=gallery&type=thumb ('http://forum.berlinasportivo.com/dbtgallery.php?do=view_image&id=55&gal=gallery')

If you take a look at page 3 of this pdf Cooling system (http://www.berlinasportivo.com/Technical/q4manual/Q4-07_Engine_Cooling.pdf) you should see the connections.

Thanks for your time and effort, the problem is the small size pipe circled in black. I have looked true most of the manuals to see if i could find a drawing of the vaccum system but no success

I've had a quick look this morning, on mine I have tied the two hoses (the blocked off one and the one circled in black) together and then they are connected to a vacuum hose that runs along the back of the engine. Couldn't see where it went exactly but it did connect to one of the black hard plastic lines.
If I recall correctly one of the lines originally went to EGR, and the other may have gone to the fuel system charcoal filter in the passenger wing.

I will see if I can see it in tha manual.

Just taken a look at the manual.

If you open Fuel System (http://berlinasportivo.com/Technical/q4manual/Q4fuel.pdf) and go to page 4-34 it looks like one of those connectors goes to the fuel vapour recovery system, and the other goes to the EGR valve, but it looks like you've removed yours.

Here is the drawing of the Throttle body with all connections marked.

No Problem at all, always good to help a fellow Q4 owner, and along the way I've found out a little more about my car.
