The workshop manual recommends an engine stand which connects from both left and right side of the engine block - which I don't have. However on Scara 73 web page, it looks like they manage it from one side (http://www.scara73.com/web1/en/alfa-romeo/1746-155/motore/2199-2-0-t-16v-engine-preparation-2), even though you cannot see the complete installation.
Do anyone possibly have a picture, or drawing to share, or just an advice which screws/threads you recommend to use when fitting the block to an engine stand?
I normally use the flywheel flange for the Aluminium Alfa Twin Cams, but they are a lot lighter
