Evo1 part ID help

It is in the engine compartment on the driver side very near to the fuel/ecu relays.

It had two wires going to it which have corroded off. It looks like a speaker to me.

Please help identifying it please.

Trace the wires back and see where they go, that may tell you.
I doubt it was part of your car originally - I don't recognise it anyhow.
