After lots of searching and reading through threads with "suspension" and "coilovers", it seems there's an order of preference by the members of this board with respect to which kits to upgrade our 155Q4s with.

Intrax -> best of the best, expensive, but worth the premium

D2 -> may need better matched spring rates (esp. for the rear of the Q4 with the extra weight) but otherwise reasonable

XYZ -> close cousin of the D2?

I didn't see anyone mention the

FK Silverline -> http://www.gazzellaracing.com/product.php?productid=19452&cat=3669&page=1 kit

I'm a bit late to the game, having just got my 155Q4 this year (2013) while most of the suspension threads are approx. 5 years old :new:

Then again, maybe it's a good time to ask about durability and "if you could do it over, which coilover kit(s) would you consider"?

Thanks in advance, guys!

So far, I haven't made a call to the Intrax dealers close to me, but I will this coming week. One posting from 2010 from a member mindus suggests some pricing for Intrax coilover kits (in 2010, of course).

As far as I can see the FK Silverline is only for the regular 155, and not the Q4..
Anyways, it won't be long before I have to get new suspension myself, so could be interesting to see what Intrax will cost, and if they produce them anymore.
