I think it is possible to fit them to the car, but whether they are suitable or not is a different matter. I think the Coupe is a lighter car and when fitted to the Q4 the shocks\springs of the coupe won't be upto the job.

The Coupes do have different front hubs as well, but I believe the difference is where the brake calipers mount.

Coupe 16VT have the same front hubs afaik, they have the same brakes. I have Koni shocks in my Coupe and they are very hard. They could be used in a heavier car.

While we are on the Q4 shocks as a topic, does anybody have the Koni Sport numbers for the Q4 shocks? I am electronically handicapped and could not get it from their site.

I asked the question on here a while ago and was told no, but with no explanation.
I'm surprised no-one has tried it and reported back, getting hold of a used damper and spring from a Coupe is like getting wet in the rain over here!
With the BC Racing and other stuff on the market you could get yourself a really good well priced set up.

I have a feeling they will fit and if you are using adjustable coilovers then well, there will be some adjustment in damping and you can order with a stronger spring at no extra cost.
Suspension on 16vt and 20vt is interchangeable.

Someone also needs to check in the online manuals for overall weight and axle weights between the two cars, not difficult and then at least you'd have a definitive answer for that one.

The laziness of the Q4 community, especially in Denmark and the UK amazes me sometimes!

Thanks for that

Speaking for myself there are lots of other variables, apart form laziness, that mean I'm unable to reply with any conviction. These include lack of time, lack of money to potentially "waste" messing about, unwillingness to advise someone if it could go wrong, lack of technical knowledge, lack of trust in Alfa's variable technical data etc etc.

I would imagine that also applies to a lot of other people on here...

I know, we also make some great excuses too.

It made me smile when they proclaimed the Olympic stadium and village was entirely British built.

It was 95% Polish.
