We weren't expecting any, but its been snowing pretty much all day, good job its still above freezing here otherwise it would be pretty deep.
So, apart from the northern European lot out there, who has got some snow to play on?
Nothing against you northen European lot, but you always get snow.
we in Croatia have 70cm snow

Is it me or has the whole of the UK gone mad over a light dusting of snow? I spotted one reporter with a tape measure measuring about 2" of snow .
20 years ago I wouldn't have thought twice about venturing out in that amount. And yes writing that did just make me feel old!
I think the phrase is
How dare it snow in winter :lol-044::lol-044::lol-044::lol-044::lol-044::lol-044:

Agree 100%...I don't get the mass panic that accompanies the mere mention of snow!
I'm off on a 500 mile round trip tomorrow!
The trip home from work, up some really tight and steep hills was only eventful because of the idiot in front of me wheel spinning, holding me up...so I breezed past him :nahnahna:
Winter tyres are great...

in some countries they are obligatory.

Yes, I've read people saying the same...Holland for example?
Sounds like a good idea to me, change to cold weather tyres late in the year. They do make a difference when the temperature drops, not just in snow.

Not regulated by law overhere ;)
In Germany you must have them during winter time.
Maybe if we would have more serieus winters with ice and lots of snow I might starting to buy winter tyres and swap over during winter time.
For now, I can't see the benefit of it. Nothing I can't solve with adjusting to the weather and drive carefully.
Besides, most of the time we have weather with temperatures above the 7 or 8 C and you won't have the advantage of winter tyres anymore.
Outside 15cm snow. My 155 Q4 locked in garage. Probably thinking :thinking-011: at me and swearing like a trooper

I remember a few years back when I was off to visit the Oslo office in February, I phoned the IT guy up and asked what the weather was like there and whether they had any snow.
He said there wasn't any snow, but as I'm flying in the whole place is white. Get to the office no problem and ask him about all the white stuff outside the window. His reply was that they only consider its been snowing when its up to their chests.
There was about 8" of snow there and it didn't slow anyone down at all.
Snow in this weather not at all.. but few months back we got too much here... but removed all the photos from camera. Anyhow your shots are great (http://www.allvehicleaccessories.com.au/).. thanks for sharing them. I like all of them because now here the temperature is about 30 to 34 C and its burning.
