Not sure what you mean...SZ is always in the garage :)
Falling out with the GTA anyway, looks it's going to cost me some serious money as the bottom end has started tapping
wrinx
Oh dear, sounds expensive
Not confirmed yet, hopefully a set of shells will sort it but I need to pull the sump off first.

Afraid to say GTAs are in the same league as Q4s...my old JTD didn't give me this amount of sh1t!

Shell`s are a term we use for the bearings around the crankshaft that fit into the conrods

Ah... dont worry wrinx.. i had to change all piston rings in mine GTA 3 months ago as she ate 1l oil per 700-800 km... 150kkm on the clock
and most of the parts (rings, seals set) are not available in aftermarket shops... only original parts by alfa romeo.... = pricy :(

Best of luck Wrinx
Thanks...can't give up on it anyway, lovely car really, just needs a lot of TLC!

You know you won't get rid, we all suffer this affliction, it's an Alfa romeo owners disease, I know if I had the space, there would be all sorts of Alfas lying around, I just couldn't stop myself especially with the top models
