Is it just me that has visions of you keeping a slightly lower rent version of this lovely lady under a blanket on the back seat, ready to drape herself over your bonnet everytime you park?

Well i set off in search of the holy grail a TI-Z and even though i found 2 for sale a nice shiny red V6 or a nice shiny yellow 2.0 the sheer price of them scared me off
but while i was looking round i found this Q4 and seen as it should be totally rust free and its nice and shiny and only done approx 75,000 miles (128,000 km) and i managed to get it for a good price i thought what the hell
I can always get it registered and sell it :lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030:

As "the Q4 is on the Tyne" I'm guessing it's at home...?
wrinx
It is now mate ........................ after arriving to collect it and finding the to be towed note stuck on the dash
Dead battery no fuel and then towing round the car park for about a mile and it still didnt fire i was ready to give up
but after about an hour of fecking about it eventually started to fire then slowly spluttered onto 2 then 3 then 4 cylinders it was running
and after a good run home it all seems fine :lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030:

ideal for fastening the racing harness to .......................
amongst other things it has air con and a sunroof which was a surporise and a fibreglass bonnet and a firbeglass boot lid
Needs a couple of little things doing but overall i`m well chuffed and am excited now whereas before i was a bit worried having bought it and not actually seen it     [

If you mean fastening the shoulder harnesses down to this, then thats a big no no. They should go backwards at no more than 45 degrees below the horizontal, and ideally a lot less below it.
No idea what that bar is for to be honest, some strange Japanese fetish no doubt.
Congratulations, looking like a nice car.
Its all i can think it is as it has an eyelet on it and there eyelets either side of the seat as well
You know what these crazy Banzai warriors are like :lol-030::lol-030::lol-030::lol-030:
bit late but, it looks very good ! seems they modified the inlet pipework and moved battery, alloy intercooler, thats not a std oil cooler either .... it all looks right tho :) just need to bin those cats now ...

That's indeed a big no no.
I have also something like this, I only fitted that axtra bar between the legs of the cage. Right behind the seats. I fitted the lower straps of harnass/belt to this bar.
Is it connected to the actual body, maybe to strengthen the body from flexing??
Is it connected to the actual body, maybe to strengthen the body from flexing??
No i`ve sussed it out ............... its bolted to the floor there is one eyelet on it which lines up with the side of the seat theres another eyelet mounted near the seat belt mounting and 2 more eyelets mounted to the rear seat belt mounting points
so its there for a four point harness
Aha mystery solved Sherlock :lol::lol::lol:
