Need new springs, and think I will go for coilover. But I am afraid that they will be to soft at the rear, I have heard that many people complain about that? The sport spring is way to soft after 15. years :smile: 7kg on the rear is that good or bad?
What do we think about this

These XYZ coilovers have appeared since we did the D2 groupbuy, and from looking at pictures of them I would say that they are produced at the same factory.
If they are the same as the D2 coilovers, then indeed the rear springs will be too soft.

Yes that i was afraid of, thanks anyway. Is there other option? Intrax is to expensive. What about the H&R for V6 is that a better choice?

The rest of the D2 kit is pretty good, its just that the rear springs are too soft. It would be a much better kit if only the rear springs were a lot stiffer.

I'm wearing already these. For the track are perfect. For the road the are very stiff. As Steve said above the rear springs are very soft. I just kept the oem rear springs

The OEM springs and suspension are verry soft after 196000km so thats way I need new one's. They charge around 2000Euro i think, but I will get the correct value coming week.
Have you heard anything from Intrax? I've tried e-Mailing them a couple of times but had no answer.

I'm pretty sure the last time I mailed them they were pretty quick getting back to me.
Maybe we ought to approach RSR Eric and see if he can help out getting hold of some better springs.

Does anybody know if I can fit those Q4 coilovers in my 155 v6?, I've only found suspension for Q4 and TSpark.

All the suspension mounting points will be the same, so actually fitting the Q4 coilovers to a V6 should be possible.
The main consideration for me would be the damper and spring rates. On the front end I suspect the V6 and the Q4 will be similar, using the weight of the engine and transmission as a rough guide.
The Q4 is heavier at the rear due to the fuel tank being further back and the rear diff and shafts. I am not sure how much of a difference this makes, but it makes me wonder if the Q4 rear shocks and springs may end up a little harder. I am not sure of this but it might be worth comparing rear spring and damper characteristics to a set of non-coil over performance units to see how they compare.
Alternatively, as they should be a direct fit, buying them and playing around with them might be the best way !!!
Most kits are sold as the sam items for V6 and Q4.

I have the Intrax RS coilover set under the Q, the rear springs were too soft, I requested intrax for a solution, I now have ALF1173 HA Q4-coils fitted from Intrax, only costed 96 euro for two springs and give perfect ride and heigt together with extreme low coils at the front!!

got my set 2nd hand and got it overhauled at intrax. But I just gave them a call for u: an intrax RS set will cost you 1050, with rear height adjustable 1250, RSA (damping adjustable) 2100, all prices are without 21% taxes...:wah: I have the RS-set, it is perfect for me, extremely stiff and responsive, Intrax build all sets custom built for your purpose... road/trackday tell them what you want, they'll build it for you.
