I am going to install my D2 dampers soon. I read ón the coupe forum that top mounts from the bravo is the Best - any comments?

When we did the D2 group buy we got the D2 adjustable top mounts at the same time. Not sure how they compare strength wise to OEM items. The Bravo uses a different, newer floorpan so they may well have made improvements to the top mounts.

Hi,

Bravo, brava, marea use a little bit different type of top mounts but you can install easily on 155/tipo/dedra type. Lets say this is one kind of improving comfort.

You need new top mount from bravo/a/marea type, and two more specific parts from them, actually number 7 from the first picture and number 4 from second picture

than, throw out old bearing, leave rubber rings on springs and finish story.

Anyway, this is helpful for someone who wants to improve comfort.

Yep always useful to know other parts will fit, but I'm not sure there are that many of us on here who look towards improving comfort rather than handling.

There is no difference in handling, difference is only when you crossing between old asphalt and new one, or small holes on the street, you can't feel chassis vibration and punches as before.
The point is smaller surface area between shock absorber together with spring and chassis, then all vibrations are reduced to a minimum.
Who uses a low profile tyres will feel greater difference.
