Towed the car up to leicester so is seating at the workshop this is going to be my 1st job to finish in my spare time.

Hoping to have finished running, mot and taxed for retro-rides in august

Good luck on getting everything finished in time, its the small jobs at the end that always seem to eat up the time.

I've moved it from south up to the workshop so it's now 160 miles away from me until the 21st july when we move up to hinckley. I should have it running, mot'd and taxed for retro-rides:unsure::unsure::unsure::tongue:

Full steam ahead next to get it finished just booked mot for sat 4th august. Then will run around in it for a few weeks before retro-rides

Got a citroën zx wiper arm and bracket so will have a single wiper on it

Exhaust made, intercooler piping done, front bumper cut, battery bracket in boot, brakes bleed, single wiper, collected up loads of pipes, inlet manifold back on and mounted power steering bottle on offside chassis leg.

And made hole in the drivers footwell to sill it was 50/50 that it was going to need welding

Well it's running but didn't have it finished for retro-rides. I still have to weld floor, modify roll cage, rear n/s wheel bearing, o/s/r trailing arm bearings and a few wires still to connect. Look at indicators and as not working. Going to repaint rear subframe, poly bushes and both trailing arm bearings

.....i have just been thinking about doing the same conversion this winter, but i will try to buy a 20vT coupe as a donor to butcher up, so i get everything i need.

Going to do welding, rear trailing bearings & wheel bearing this week then get mot on it. Will rebuild subframe when I get the poly bushes but need to move it from the workshop and do some work on the White 4x4 as collecting a 16vt 2mor

It has a years mot and six months tax so will be putting some shake down miles.
So I'm very happy day it's putting a big smile on my face

Well passed mot on tuesday and have been useing in alot have done over 600 miles in it with a big smile on my face

Collected the silverstone jack up kit from dazza at ace cafe on thursday evening

Have sorted the rev counter today by dismantling both sets of clocks and swopped some bits over now I've got rev counter reading the what the 5 pot is revving at

I guess a tacho reading 4/5 the true engine speed, could get you into trouble.

Nope havn't used it in over a week as I've been useing the 155 selespeed and the last 3 days the 156 selespeed. Will be going to work in it on monday

Will this is getting pulled apart as the engine, box and wiring etc into the white widey so I can use it more with the family.

I've got some new plans for the car as in the alfa 156 2.4 jtd 10v engine that I've got. I need to have a think about interior as will be my everyday car

Been getting this ready for van to collect at the weekend.
155 mirrors fitted, replaced n/s/f tyre, removed the tow bar, mopped the car so no white over spray on it anymore, started to swop the rear quarters and collecting a new clutch slave cylinder 2mor as started to leak this week

Looks really good mate, couldn't really see much in the dark the other night :thumbsup: :thumbsup: it sounds really nice as well, like a gruff straight six engine, I've always liked the sound of 5 pots from the days of the early 80's Audi
