So how many of you out there have got a Q4 to-do list?
I seem to have been collecting parts for the Q4 recently, so as it stands at the moment the Q4 to-do list is:
Swap over the inlet manifold to the new Lancia one.

Then get underneath and remove the old subframe, to slot in this new and in much better condition one.

Then of course the quick-shift kit needs to go on, and then a beltchange and replace the water pump, and then, and then .....

the Lancia inlet manifold can be fitted only with the Lancia fuel rail, doesn't it?

I've read that before, no experience myself though.

Hmm.. i made one few hours ago :)
Must have in first place:
- change injectors for bigger ones as on standard there is no more room for proper remap (only 1,05 bar boost at proper AFR max) and meaby inlet from thema one :)
- ecu remap (again)
- removing EGR
- removing balance shafts
- exchanging interior for recaro seats from 155 donnor
- proper fitting of boost, egt, oil pressure gauges
- replacing right rear door lock as it's not working
- connecting central lock into remote and mount device for auto closing windows
- moving battery into trunk
- replacing all old rubber hoses to silicone ones
- find right mirror housing, meaby even in red :)
plenty of work
:D

Yep, you need to use the kappa fuel rail, but with the Q4 injectors. And you also use the Q4 throttle body as it is larger than the kappa one.
So not quite a straight swap.
Steve is right varypodaros, mine to do list is:
-Wider body like zagato TI-Z (parts from deltona modified to Q4) this will be this summer
- AEM water- methanol injection system
- A bigger fmic
- aggressive camshafts (I'm thinking about C&B)
- a GT 35r turbo
Still need to put mine back together after some recent surgery...other things keep getting in the way!
- rear half of interior and boot
- sill cover
- c-pillar trims (when I find them!)
- stop two coolant leaks
- replace front wings
- replace front and rear bumpers
- source new wheels (or at least get the ones I won on ebay).

Here's mine - trying to do it all before the birthday bash:
- Put the new momo steering wheel on straight
- Investigate the front end 'clunk' happening on full lock
- Change the oil cooler pipes
- Recheck transmission and rear diff oil levels
- Raise the rear ride hight a centimetre or so
- Swap the worn door seals with the spares car
- Fill the water bag in the boot and see if the intercooler spray is working (relay appears to be in place)
- Fit the SS exhaust system that I bought with the car
Threads like this help keep on top of the various items that need attention so thanks!
Fix coolant leaks
Replace coolant
Check fluids all round
Find out why the screen washer flud decided to drain out of the near side headlamp washer
Block up an open small bore pipe
Clean it
Polish it
Think about the turbo...
Doesn't every Q4 owner have a to-do-list :new:
Here's mine:
In the immediate future:
- change o/s front hub and bearing: done
- weld and repair the exhaust: new fitted
- adjust handbrake: done
- clean and polish: done
- hoover inside: done
- get a new MOT: done twice already
In the near future:
- fit strut brace: done
- change fuel filter: done
- change engine, gearbox and rear differential oil and filter: done
- change coolant: done
- change p/s oil: done
- change cambelt: done
- change turbo and exhaust manifold: done
- change small hoses: done almost all
- change bonnet: done
- change fuel pump: done
In the distant future:
- new rear shocks: done
- new exhaust: done
- remap or chip: done
Small update, still to-do:
- rebuild rear diff
- change windscreen
- change brake fluid
- change turbo oil feed- and return hoses and oil and filter
- weld new metal to o/s rear arch and change the rear wing
- fit wide-cambelt kit
Steve, I do not know if you have a handy person available that do aluminium manufacturing and TIG welding. Then I would buy half a meter of 100mm aluminium tube and modify the plenum on the Kappa manifold.
The theory would have it that the plenum of a 2 ltr car should have a volume of 2 ltr. This work even beter for turbo engines and keep the boost supply much more constant under acceleration
