Have you got any pics of the rear brake upgrade? Not heard of the 146 upgrade before, is it a straight swap?

Yeah, the 146 rear brakes are lighter because of the alloy used, and with them you will overcome the occasional rattling that the 155 brakes usually make. Another great plus is that the hand brake becomes tighter and stronger because of the slightly different mounting point for the handbrake.
The 146 rear brakes fit exactly in place with no modification needed - even the brake pads are almost the same.

I have heard from other people that even the front 146 brakes are suitable for the 155, but here the pads are different.

Oh, please have in mind that I'm talking about modification of the "usual" petrol-driven 155, not Q4 or the diesel ones ... The exchange is possible and beneficial only for the 1.7 , 1.8 and 2.0 8v cars. It may be also sutable on the 1.6 and 1.8 16v, but not sure for the 2.0 16v (bigger brake disks and so on...)
