Hi folks. I have the chance of buying a 1981 1.3 sud With the boxer engine.
I will view it tomorrow. Price is 600 Euros. And it's left hand drive.
The seller tells me it's a runner with little rust.
Can anyone advise me about the market price ? Is it worth 600 e ?
Hopefully i will post up pictures after the viewing.
Thanks in advance.

It all depends on how much rust there really is and what condition the interior is in, the mechanicals are all pretty much available but I guess the fixtures and fittings are getting hard to find these days.
So long as it really only does have a little rust, and the engine isn't on its last legs I would have said €600 is a good price. Of course that doesn't mean you shouldn't haggle a bit.
Don't forget to get some pics of the car.

There are a couple up for sale on leboncoin, range in price from €400 to €4000, should give you an idea about the market.

Ok . I had a look but no photo,s. While it is in reasonable condition it would be a full strip out and rebuild in order to have a very nice car.
It is complete and there is the odd rust area's. One near the front pillar/screen. A couple around wheel arches.
Its been resprayed white, was red. But quite some time ago by previous owner.
A good project for someone, but not for me as i have other projects.
He will take 500 Euros for it.
If anyone wants a look it is in France 16500. I can give the contact details.

Thanks for the update, I guess finding a Sud project without rust issues was too much to ask for.
As much as I would like a Sud, I'm holding out for my GTV project car.
