Hi all!

As I've also planned to change the Q4 front calipers to the BREMBO from the 166 I have had a look if the original speedline (7J x 16 - ET 41) could fit with the brakes...
I suppose that you all know: THEY DO NOT FIT.

I guess that I would need about 20-25mm distance plate on each side.

BUT I don't want the wheels to come out of the wings!
My Q4 isn't a widebody and the speedline's are covered by the wings, but it's even tight...

So I would like to find wheels that have almost the same spec. (7J x 16 - about ET 35 - 42) but with more space inside the wheel for the calipers.

Can somebody help me on this?

It would be useful for me if you can tell me the manufacturer and the name/type of wheels that you know. OR you probably use on your Q4 with Brembo calipers...

Thanks in advance!

Best regards, Martin

Team Dynamics RVO1s are a very close fit in 16" size, with about 1mm to spare.

Note, RVO2 will NOT fit in 16" and need spacing in 17" guise too...that's what are on mine.

Hi!

Do you know the offset (ET) of the 16" RVO1s?

I think they are not produced anymore. I couldn't find them on the internet. :thinking-011: Not even a picture...

If the ET is around 40mm I could use the standard 3mm spacers and would have 4mm spare to the calipers... am I right???

But where to get this wheels?!? And how do they look like?

Sorry, don't know the offset, I think they need a 5mm spacer which is not a problem.

You're right, they are no longer available new, but they look something like these RVO2s:

Hi wrinx! Hi hf hpe!

First of all thanks for your infos!
All others are welcome to give me some more infos, if possible.
Does anybody know something about OZ Superturismo, ultraleggera and so on...

I think I would like them if they look almost the same...
And it seems that also the RVO2s are no longer available new...

... but finding them would be problem, I'm afraid

ET would be interesting. Thanks, and no hurry! Probably I should have a look at TSW also...

I will stay at 16" because of two reasons:
1. I can use 205/45-16 in a legal way here
2. The suspension (FK coilovers) of the car is almost very hard with 195/50-15

My 17" Superturismo wheels fit over Fiat Coupe 20vT Brembo calipers with a few mm to spare. I do not know about 16" versions of the SuperT's though. Sorry.

Hi Jack!

Thanks! It gives me an idea that "the inner shape" of the rim could fit as I already supposed by having a look at some pictures of the rim...
