Hi Guys,

Has been a while since I posted something in here, but is always a pleasure to meet you even when it's virtually.
My last contribution was the info to buy the D2 suspension kit that I finally can't buy :-(
hope you guys are enjoying the suspensions.
Now I need some help regarding wheel balancing.

My main problem is to find the way to dynamically balance the wheels. Everything go straight with static one, pull out the wheel fit into the balancing machine ant that's it.
But doing the balancing process with the wheels attached is a nightmare and not all tyres workshops can do, because of permanent 4W drive.
How did you solve this matter? I wonder if you carry the "berlina" to a truck tyres workshop or similar.
Please I appreciate any suggestion.

Thanks!
-Dario.

Hi Dario,

Never heard of this method before...interested to see what suggestions you get.

heard of this type of balancing a while ago but have never came in contact with some workshop who actually could do it, and the next problem is you would need to do it every time you would remove a wheel in practice..

does it really make that much difference? I don?t know so if anyone know please enlighten us.

Off topic but are you happy with the D2 coilovers?
Since they are not height-adjustable in the rear I went for a FK-K?nig set

here they were mounted on my red one (also Q4) but have now switched between the cars:

Do You know a company to buy D2 for q4 ?
isn't red one a little bit too low, almost like low rider
"slow but low" as someone could say :)

Nah, it is just the right amount of low, IMHO that is :P

D2 coilovers can be bought at several sites, google to see which is closest to you to get the lowest shipping costs but for example the finnish site: http://www.race.fi/en/catalog/cat-suspension-292/Suspension%20&%20brakes__2__Make%3AAlfa%20Romeo----Model%3A155_0_12.html

but my car has the FK K?nig set so no height adjustment on the rear on D2s variant..
