V6 tb in the 916 Spider

Did the 916 spider ever get this engine? All the info seems to be about the GTV but it seems odd if it never went into the spider.

Yup, but the Spider TB was just for the Italian market, and only from phase 2 >1998 so it's pretty rare.

Stefan from Squadra tuning has his home-brewed 2.8 V6 TB spider (3.0 V6 engine with 2.5 V6 cranckshaft to get compression down) but original Spider V6 TB's have to be found in Italy afaik.
