Hello Xti!

Very, very nice!!! :thumbsup:

Looks really great! I wish you, that your dream will not end!

I'm planning to do the rebuild also with my Q4. I'll probably start at the end of next year because before doing it I'd like to enjoy the car a little bit (this autumn and the next summer). I do not drive it in the "austrian winter"

Best regards, Martin

Hi, guys!

Finally I managed to take my Q4 to Berlina Sportivo Garage, sorry for delay...it seems I'm running out of time lately.

@Martin
We also have a few good reasons to stay inside during the winter, one of them being that not all cars have 4WD advantages. Or good brakes. Or skilled drivers...:driving-014:
Good luck with your project, I will make possible to update my thread too maybe it could help sometimes.

@Steve
Indeed like new as I'm kinda perfectionist. As I said before, don't need to be nuts to do that but it surely helps.

@Maxi
It needs few more upgrades and deffinitely it needs a steering too. Not to mention about the Maxi display...

Also my 155 Q4 wish to thank to you guys for the nice welcome and will do it's best to make this garage proud!
And as time and money will allow it, we'll get to tech upgrades too.

Cheers,
C.

Thanks in advance for your good wishes and for your offered help.
I already subscribed to your thread. I didn't read and watch all up to now because there are a few sites already and a lot of nice pictures! :thumbsup:
We will "read us" there...

what kind of colour do you use to paint subframes and parts of suspension?

Xti
21-01-13, 13:12
It is glossy black/ rosso 130 (just like for the body)...but if you've meant kind of paint then it is usual carpaint just that it was hardened with professional materials to stick better and last longer.

thank you a lot.
I meant the kind of the paint...

You're welcome!

If you could have'em electrostaticaly painted that would be even better. Also much more expensive...

I WANT THOSE WHEELS!

Xti
27-01-13, 08:25
Oh, I used to have 12 of 'em. Have been waiting 2 years to find such rare wheels. Sold 8 to a Sierra Cosworth guy and I still feel bad for having done that...deep need of money at that time. Like most of time...:lol:

Let me know what would mean from your side a reasonable price for a set. And the wheells specs you're after, please. I will get in touch with some Rally racers around here again and let you know when I'll find something if you will still be interested.

Cheers,
Cris.

Hello, thanks for asking. But I'm affraid not.

I'd rather say I have to sell my 155 Q4, just it is hard for me taking that decision. Over a year thinking on this matter. Really love this car, the most trustful car I've ever had so far.

If anyone ask , the price will be around 12000 EUR. Exclusively for members I will discuss this price and I will gladly take into consideration all offers. This car will be first advertised on this site/forum for 1 month ! This Alfa needs a passionate behind the wheel.

And for this beloved 155 q4 the next owner may take ALL spare parts to the very last screw (spare engine, all diffs, gearbox, steering wheel assemble, T3/T4 hybrid turbo, FMIC, all shafts, body parts, electronics and God knows what else ...there are many). Of course all spares for free and have nothing to do with the price but with passion!

Please do not ask why I'm doing this because I only know I don't like doing it !

Best regards,
Chris

Few monts ago i purchase set of th 1781 from compomotive in GB but they look a way diferent than th1780:((

Xti
20-04-15, 11:48
Comparing some photos I've also noticed a slightly difference between 1780 and 1781 just wouldn't have said it could be a big one. What exactly do you mean? I was once considering to purchase a new set of 1781 even if I trust more the old manufactured once don't know for sure why...
I agree with you guys these are nice wheels indeed and wasn't easy at all findin'em. ("And you had 12 of them dumm ass !!!". of course this is me talking to myself..)

Mecenasrally
20-04-15, 23:50
Main diference between 1780 and 1781 is the center piece "dish" is a way thicker on th1781 wheel and close to hub area is not that deep as th1780. When i saw it first time i was so disappointed and just sell them. If You decide to sell Yours th 1780 let me know please;)) ill pay all my money;))

Xti

It's good to know so I won't buy the 1781, thanks. I will remember your interest, of course.
