You know the things that keep the bonnet open, are they still available for the 155, or does anyone know of a suitable alternative?

Got fed up with the broom handle keeping the bonnet open.

But, someone on 155.org warned the ball connector size is different...5/6mm not 8mm. The chap bodged the originals on instead but perhaps the company would supply the right size?

Their dealer part number is incorrect, should be 60604174 and are about ?35 each from Alfa.

I need a set as well...but for that money I'll keep replacing the piece of wood

?22.32 per strutt. Stuff that. The last ones I got for the Range rover were about €9 each.

Found this on DT the other night, might have to see what it is like, probably a little safer that the broom handle

Just taken the bonnet rams off the car completely. One is knackered but one feels pretty strong. (Takes a good push to get it to retract) So if anyone wants a single ram, let me know. (Price of postage from France + small donation to the website)

Cheers
