From the cam cover...does anyone have thoughts about diverting it, to not vent to the inlet?

I guess the only reason for doing this is environmental...?

Lots of 80's metal just used to use a small air filter stuck on the cam cover vent to stop oil spraying around the engine bay. I'm sure all modern stuff has to recirculate it for environmental reasons, but as to where to recirculate it to? The std Q4 one has 2 return pipes, one going back to the inlet and one going down to return liquid to the sump.
You might be able to just divert it all back to the sump, but I'm not sure how sensible it is to pressurise the sump, and whether or not the amount of pressure from the cam cover would cause any probs.

The only reason for NOT doing this is for environmental reasons. I always convert my track cars to a bottle.
