Hi guys, I'm having some troubles with my 155 Q4. I've not been vey well and I've had to rely on friends in the trade to help get her back on the road!
The garage/friend I got to sort my car have had trouble with the starting of it! It Hadn't run for nearly 10 months whilst being worked on I can't believe its over a year since I took it off the road!!:cry:

Any how enough babbling!!
The car started fine to begin with, then would run and cut out- then re start and be fine. It went for an mot and thankfully only failed on stupid things- car ran fine for mot then the mot station parked it up and then it wouldn't start!!! Fooking typical!

Found the front crank sensor lead had been wearing on the pulleys!
Have changed plugs and water temp sender to ecu also.

No spark though!

Can anyone shed some light?

I've patched the crank sensor lead still to no avail!

Do I need new lead or is it coil pack or amplifier problem??

HELP!!!!! I need to drive her!!! She Looks GREAT TO!!!

Thanks in advance guys!

First of all press down the button of the safety device under the driver's seat.
Then check the fuse and the two relays next to the APS.

I would swap out the crank sensor completely in case it is more damaged internally than you think. Check the resistance of the two pins and let us know. I dont know what is good or bad so will need to look it up
