Does any one knows where the vacuum intake hose for the APS is at the intake box?
I tried to see where it goes, following the tube from the APS but it disappears under the ignition coils???
Is this the same as the map sensor?
If so, it is at the front, underneath between the two bolts that hold the manifold to the head i.e. very hard to get at.

Sorry, what do you mean with APS?
Absolute pressure sensor was my guess...

Yes, sorry folks I meant the MAP
APS is indead Absolute Pressure Sensor.
So, is it necessary to remove the intake box in order to replace this tube???
sh...t sh...t sh...t sh...t!!!
No. not really, when I put my manifold back on I left this hose off:doh:
To attach it you need to undo the two 10mm holding the manifold to the head and then force the manifold back (it will flex on the rubber connections) with a big screw driver or bar and try to get to it. Its not easy and you need one person to lever the manifold and one to reach for the hose. If the person lets go of the leverage it will hurt!

I'll ask my wife to reach the hose!!! hi, hi, hi.
It's her car, not mine!
If I'll let the leverage go? No comments.
