Hi again...

I?ve decided to convert my Q4 into a rallycar.!

I now that many of you mean thats blasphemy, but I promise that I will make it look nice and cool.

The first thing I have startede with, is to strip the chassis.

Then I will remove all rust protection, and sealing, paint etc.

And before that - I have to make a lot of rust work.

You can see some pictures of the process so far...

Interesting project. How long did it take you to get it all stripped, and does that body jig bolt on?

I do not think it is blasphemy to convert any car to a rally-car.
Be patient and try to take the best out of it.

And as Nick told you, ... Keep Walking.

As long as you go forward, it's allright.

It's a lot of work, at least it took hell of a lot to me (and my Q4 wasn't so rusty).

Keep up!

Actually it took longer time than expected!

I can?t tell you how long - but it was a lot!

The "body Jig" is made of two engine holders. And then I have welded some squaretubes on the chassis, which is welded directly on the engine holders. So no bolt on!

Well - right now nothing really happens.

At the time, I?m working on two other (new) projects.

My family car - 166 2,5 V6 - is going to have a 3,0 engine installed.

And I?m also making a 75 3,0 to a rally car as well (rear wheel drive is just fun)

But I have forgotten about my Q4 (Its still my precious) :tasty:
