View Full Version : Component Data Sheets
I think we had something like this before, but this is a good chance to gather all the data sheets we have for the different sensors.
The reason why I started this, is that I need the datasheet for BOSCH #0280130060. It is an intake temp sensor from Kappa.
The question is, can I use it in place of the weber one in Q4?
Thanks!

Intake air temp sensor: 706
Map sensor: 707
Water/Oil temp sensor: 708
Throttle position sensor: 709
I think the Kappa one will not fit in the thermostat....

You were right, if I used the original manifold, but I'm using a kappa manifold.
This is why I need to know if it has the same specs.

Sorry my mistake, I thought we were looking at Water temp sensors, not air temp :redface::redface::redface:

instead of the Q4s oem air temp sensor and the oem map {aps} sensor you could use also the Bosch hubrid aps sensor, part number 0261230042. And you can place it directly on the intake manifold!
Connections for this one:
1=negative - earth
2=air temp signal
3=+5v
4=pressure signal
oem weber connections :
A=+5v
B=negative - earth
C=pressure signal

Hi!
Thanks!
Can I simply put it in, without any modifications in the ECU software?
Does it have the same parameters?
Thank you!

yes, you can just replace both of the oem sensors with this hybrid one and there is no need to remap - modify the ecu software.
I think it cost less too.

Fantastic!
Thank you! :D
Tomorrow I'll buy one!
This is the little guy! :D

yes,
this is the 'little guy'. All you need is a new hole of 12mm diameter - to mount this sensor - and the wire connections, as described.
Have fun with your mod on your Kappa manifold.
Nick
ps.
could you inform us about the cost of it? I do not remember it any more.

I forgot,
if you want to go to higher boost pressure, with a different turbo of coarse, you could also use the same type of Bosch hybrid sensor but with part number 0281002437, which goes up to 3 bar {instead of the 2,5 bar of the oem one or the Bosch 0261230042}. With this one, at 3 bar absolute, you mast remap the eprom.

Did someone have the data sheet / specifications for the oem 'electronic ignition modules' and the oem 'ignition coils', used in the second and third version {02-'93 onwards}?

Here it is:
It's not bosch, but EPS an italian manufacturer.
It costed me with 46% preference 12394HUF witch is around 40.5EUR.

as long as this one has the same range with the bosch one I can not see why not to use it.
And I believe it cost less than the Bosch one.
Plenty of fitting for you. Have fun.

Thanks!
It's the same as the bosch, its a reproduction. So you don't have to pay for the name...
Thanks! :biggrin:

Where can I get a connector for it?
Thanks!
