Nick,
OEM is 1.9mm before tighten it.

Once we discussed this here (http://forum.berlinasportivo.org/showpost.php?p=6021&postcount=12).

thanks Juan,

I think I'm getting too old and Alzheimer is knocking at the door.

BTW, what do you, or someone else, think of mounting a 1,6 head gasket?
Is there need to modify the boost pressure to lower levels, if such a gasket is mounted in an oem engine? I read something like that in an another post - not here - but I do not remember where.

CR will be slightly modified, and fuels are now better than in 90?s.
I?d only play a little with ignition timing, but just for getting the best of it.

I found my notes.
They were talking about 1.4 head gasket and a not to go to 'extreme' turbo boost levels, in an Lancia evo1. Probably not my case.

Anyway, thanks for the note Juan

thanks Nick,

well, the oem thickness is 1,9mm and the 'grA' headgasket is at 1.6mm.
Finally, found my notes and I belive it goes something like :
- 1,9mm cr: 7.85/7.9:1
- 1,6mm cr 8/8.05:1
- 1,4mm cr 8.1/8.15:1,
if the engine head was rectified once of twice {loosing no more than 1/10th}.
