It's been a while since i payed some attention to my Q4.
As you guys all know, I have timing belt problems earlier this year
Weel, that problem isn't solved jet :tapedshut:

In the mean while I also didn't sit still. Recently my girlfriend moved in with her little girl, so Ive been busy redecorating some bed rooms.

Earlier this year I ordered a boost gauge an control unit from Defi Link. Last week I took some time of doing jobs in the house and spent this time on my Q4  I only need to find a good spot to fit the first gauge. I have some ideas about this, thanks to some input from my girlfriend  I have a spare dash to study and try the possibilities on the gauge idea  I hope to show the result another time if it could work ;)

Well, the boost gauge  I tested the boost gauge with the air pump from my bike  This is how it currently works in my Q4.

It seems that I will spent some time doing small things on the Q.
The plan is to look at the engine early 2009 and investigate if there is damage to the valves. Keep you guys posted.

Greetings,
Marc

I'm waiting for a couple of "Go-Glow" gauges to arrive, they are similar to that but use numbers :)

That gauge looks the business Marc, much better than the one I've got anyway. Don't know if mine is particularly crappy, but the needle tends to flicker around whereas yours seems damped.
