With the new wheels that I am using with the 166 calipers (also am using the "standard" 5mm spacer...) the original wheel bolts that are used with the speedline wheels are too long - and any others I can buy seem to be too short :(

what is involved with converting the Q4 to use studs that sit in the hubs??

thanks, jimn~

Why not cut down the originals to the correct length? Is the taper correct for the new wheels and are they 4x98mm?

What he said....ok you've got to cut sixteen bolts down but it's cheap and think of the upper body exercise ;)

conversion to studs for a racer isn't that stupid, you can change from/to rain tires much quicker that way. From what I 've heard, you have to get some whopping good steel studs and lock them with locktite in the holes in your hubs. I know a few shops here in the netherlands that will have the studs in several lengths available. The same must be for Australia?
