is this 75 a V6 or a 1,8 turbo one?
Ride well as far as I can see!!! That's why I love this car too and it's a rwd too!

Great to see your revs and boost level at this video.

the 75 is a near full on race car. 3L 24V bored to 3.6L, 350+ hp. racecar suspension, brakes, slicks and the driver knows what he's doing :). Probably weighs less than 1000Kg. so its a handful..It was the fastest car out of the 100 or so on the day..

So no shame really....were you the next fastest?

No, I was actually 4th out of the Alfa's. But before I run it again I hope to have a whole lot more "stuff" to make it go faster:)

At least you can raise the boost a little :).At this boost level as i have seen in the video your car has not much more than 200-210 hp.

10-15 more bhp can't make any difference against the +350 bhp of a NA 75.

not really, axaQ42 - its boost is maxed out with the current equipment. I can make 1.45 bar boost with this setup - but only if you start from lower revs - and that is going to result in slower lap times. driving it hard through the gears limits it to 1.1 bar. I am planning some upgrades including t3/t4 turbo, FMIC and extractors - I hope that I can get the boost higher then.

cheers, jimn~

A good turbo for the Q4 without much more turbo lag is the garrett T3(Tb0385) from the lancia delta integrale 16v or EVO1...is good for around 330-350bhp.The center of the turbo is the same as of the Q4 only the impeller has 7 blades instead of 6 and the compressor side is bigger(A/R .60) also the impeller size.

This is the video of wolf66 Q4 back when he still had this setup(lancia turbo+tipo 16v exhaust cam+mapping):

Yep...thats 300+bhp.The problem is that this turbos are pretty rare..especially in Australia i guess. But if you would be interested in getting one i can get you one :)

I think this is what EvoDelta is running and has recommended. Given that the Delta Integrale 16v and the Q4 engines are much the same I wonder why they didnt give the Q4 this turbo..

Axa, do you know the spec of the Q4 turbo with model number and impeller sizes?

EDIT:
Just found a list of Lancia's with T3s by ED:

HF turbo: TB0333
Garrett partnr: 466194-0001

HF 4WD: TB0338
Garrett partnr: 466384-0002

INTEGRALE 8v: TBO338
Garrett partnr: 466384-0006

INTEGRALE 16v and EVO I: TB0385
Garrett partnr: 465553-0001

EVO II: TB0367
Garrett partnr: 465103-0006

Although I have a TBO 385 and managed to wring plenty of power from it by modifying/replacing lots of other important parts I wouldn't really recommend it unless you can get one cheap. I already had one and just decided to experiment to see what I and it could do and what components worked and what didn't.

If I was buying new or doing something serious there are far better turbos out there now - mainly the Garret RS and GT series.

GT28RS with a T3 fitting is my plan...interested in the one they show, for a Nissan. Could that be made to fit a Q4.

Other option is a company sticking the internals in a different body to fit T3.
