Reading on the alfa155.org forum it seems that the UK cars have Girling/Lucas calipers and all take this type of pad:

But I am curious as to whether anyone has the ATE calipers which take this pad?

Is the ATE caliper better than the Girling/Lucas in anyway?

I do not know which has mine.
But if you are going - thinking to replace calipers why don't you go for the 156 GTA or the 166 4 pot ones?

166.....:tasty:

Originally mine had the Girling calipers. The ATE pads would fit my 156 JTD!

I have been very close to doing this mod before but when I needed some money I sold the bits to a forum member who has put them to good use.

Getting close to putting the GTA calipers on now, all I need is a quick-rack and a set of wheels that fit, plus new brake-lines and discs of course.
Anyone know if the 166 pods fit exactly the same as the GTA ones? Would be easier to find a set of wheels that fit those.
