Very nice. What is the bit on the end after the gauge?
It's a pressure sensor for the gauge on the middle of the dashboard. :cool:

I did not add a gauge however - I've had enough of Chinese gauges, and the good ones I find very overpriced for this purpose - so I did a switch, to select between oil pressure or fuel pressure to be displayed on the built-in VDO oil pressure gauge on the dashboard.

That's also a very good idea.
I bought Autogauge meters, we'll see how good they are...

I've had exactly the same gauges, they are crap, worked no more than a week. No more stepper motor gauges for me for now, at least till I can afford some real ones.
Until then I'm using my Zeitronix gauge for afr and egt, also check peak boost too, and analog no name gauge for the boost.

It's ALIVE!!!!
The only problem was, that the fuel rail has a leak, so I had to use a kappa facrory rail for the first test, but it's fuel pressure is 3bars.
Anyways it started without problems.
For the second attempt it was running.
I'll try to upload the shitty videos I've made, have patience... :cool:

I was a bit worried, that something fails, but I'm okay now. :D
It's really a great feeeling to get it running.
The stupid fuel rail does not want to work properly, it leaks every time on a different place. I always can find a hole so big as the top of a needle.
So I decided, to make a whole new one, out of stainless steel.

I did mine from scratch exactly for the same reason - strange material or treatment of the original, that is very hard to weld in order to make suitable for the kappa manifold. See the picture a few posts above.
My plan is to make something like this from a 30x20 mm stainless steel tube.

all of them {in the red cycle} will have exactly a 90 degrees angle axle with the flat surface. Do not know how to explain my self better, sorry.

Yes, but also from front to back. I guess Nick means that on round tube it's very easy to get the alignment wrong and the square tube solves this totally :)

I would definitely get rid of that plastic gauge, you're looking for trouble with it in such a hot engine bay. That is of course if you're not planning to drive with it, but use it only for setting the pressure now and then.

Thats only a temporary solution, until I get a steel one.
Only it's case is plastic, inside it is made of copper.

Gery, be careful with the nyloc nuts - i used them on the calipers - and the nylon part melted out first go!

No, the bumper needs to be cutted, aproxx 60% of the inside.
No, the aircon could be fitted between the IC and the water cooler.
The reason I don't have it is because I've got a bigger turbo, so the factory fan doesen't fit anymore. So I needed a slim fan between the two radiators. :(

No, the aircon radiator must be fitted on it's original place.
If you use the OEM cooler fan it is really easy, no nned for modifications. The order is really important. outside is the IC, next is the aircon, and the last one is the water radiator. It is because usually IC is most coolest and water is hottest most of the time. Otherwise they would not cool but heat each other.

The air con won't work properly if you put an intercooler in front of it. It needs the cold air. It won't break anything, but it won't cool your interior until the intercooler has cooled off again.
